Max's Big Climb and The Ice Cream Ride are two very different events with a common goal. MBC is a competitive cycling time trial up Sydenham Hill in Dundas, Ontario where riders will vie for the titles of King and Queen of the Mountain. The Ice Cream Ride is a casual and family friendly ride of varying distances with ice cream at the halfway point and again at the finish - plus a delicious lunch. All proceeds from both great events go to fund research into a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy via the registered charity Jesse's Journey.

Marin County California is the birthplace of mountain bike culture, and home to many of the people and places that have shaped the sport since those first informal, now-legendary, races down Mt. The Hamilton Burlington Mountain Biking Association’s mission is to work with community partners to maintain and improve a sustainable network of off-road cycling trails across the Hamilton and Burlington region. We recognized a growing need for a cohesive voice for mountain bikers was necessary to preserve, maintain, and increase the trail network in the Hamilton Burlington region.
