Join thousands of cyclists in this fun family event. From the seasoned racer to the first timer, this is the ride for you! Everyone is eligible to win great draw prizes. Cash awards for the top male & female racers overall (70km race only), & medals to the top 3 in each age group.
To celebrate our 20th ride every finisher gets a 20th Anniversary Medal !!!
Mountain bikes, hybrids and cyclocross bikes are recommended. The course consists of 24km of gravel and dirt roads, 5km of farm lanes, 19km of rail trail, 14km of singletrack (1-3km sections) and 8km of paved road.
BE PREPARED! EVENT GOES RAIN OR SHINE!
Bring a spare tube, pump, patch kit, rain jacket and gloves.
We have had snow and sleet on race day so be ready for anything.
Helmets are mandatory so don't leave home without it!
CATEGORIES
You are placed into a category based on your birth date. (Men and Women - based on age as of Dec 31/13). The categories are: Under 10 (must be accompanied by an adult),11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, unicycle, tandem, Mixed (1 male & 1 female), 70 KM Single Speed Open and 70 KM Open Men's Clydesdale for riders 220 pounds and over. Riders who place must weigh in at the Awards Ceremony. Riders must be more than 220 pounds in riding gear or street clothes. No extra weight is permitted (e.g. hydration pack, etc.). Any disagreements are decided at the discretion of the organizers.

Registration and Number Pick Up is only available at Ancaster:
Saturday April 13 - Ancaster Community Centre - 12 to 5pm.
Sunday April 14 - Ancaster Community Centre - 7:30 to 8:30am. Saturday Plate Pick-up recommended.

If you're an Elite racer you want to be in this wave. You must have finished in the top 100 men or the top 20 women of the 2012 P2A 60km race to automatically be accepted in this start. The final day for guaranteed acceptance into this start is March 31, 2013.
Additional invitations for the unfilled positions in the Elite start will be issued to riders of exceptional ability at the organizers discretion after this date. If you wish to be considered for an upgrade to the Elite start you must be registered by March 31, 2013. To take advantage of early bird pricing riders can enter using their 2012 license numbers. This is the regular entry fee. Elites will staged at the front of this start with Olympic Experience VIPs just behind them.

The Olympic Experience VIP by Neworld Cycle & Runners is here to fundraise for the Pan Am Velodrome in Milton. The VIP package includes services usually reserved for professional cyclists or Olympians. A portion of the entry fee will be donated to the Milton Pan Am Velodrome Fund. Preferred seeding just behind the Elites of the 70km P2A. No need to line up early, we’ll save you a premium start line spot (or Wave 1 - 4 if you prefer).
Pre and post race meet and greet with current and former Canadian mountain bike, road and track Olympians. Start alongside some of the stars of Canadian cycling from the past 40 years.
Dedicated pre-race bus and bike truck service.
Valet breakdown service. We won’t be there when you flat, but you will get a dedicated phone # to call if you really, really need a lift to the finish.
Reserved Parking at both the Start and Finish line.
Pre race mechanical services if required.
2013 custom limited edition P2A duffle bag with oodles of cool swag. Swag announcements will be forthcoming.
Pre-race soigneur services including, race food, energy gels and energy drinks, warm up tent, trainer, embrocation, espresso/coffee and snacks.

Entry fee is $202. Only 200 VIP registrations will be accepted.
WAVE 1
Limit 300 riders - You must have a UCI licence, OCA citizen permit or a USA Cycling domestic licence OR have finished in the top 400 of the 2012 P2A 60km race. To take advantage of early bird pricing riders can enter using
their 2012 licence/OCA permit numbers.
WAVE 2
Limit 300 riders - No qualification criteria, but it’s first come, first served. Riders should feel capable of completing the race in 2 hours 45 minutes.
WAVE 3
Limit 300 riders - No qualification criteria, but it’s first come, first served. Riders should feel capable of completing the race in 3 hours 45 minutes.
WAVE 4
Limit 400 riders - The family fun wave. Riders should feel capable of finishing in under 5 hours. Race course will close at pro-rated times at the 35km and 20 km to go points.
By being honest with your predicted finish time everyone will have more fun and a faster, less congested ride.
If a Wave is full - You may be able to move waves at the time you pick up your race number, if someone else moves to create an opening. We are NOT taking names for a waiting list to change waves. The procedure will be to pick up your race number, then go to the “Event/Wave ChangeTable” to see if a spot is available to switch your registration.

Race course will close at pro-rated times at the 35km and 20 km to go points.
If you're late you will not be permitted to continue. There will be a shuttle provided to return you to the finish or start line. For this reason we would recommend that inexperienced or first time participants tackle the 40 km race the first year, prior to attempting the 70 km event in a future year.
AWARD CEREMONIES 3PM ON RACE DAY AT THE ANCASTER COMMUNITY CENTRE
You or a representative must be in attendance to get your medal/prize. Medals/prizes will not be mailed this year.

ALL NUMBER PICK UP & REGISTRATION IS AT THE ANCASTER COMMUNITY CENTRE.
The 70km Paris To Ancaster start is at the Green Lane Sports Park, Paris. A nominal charge will be made for start area parking, with monies going to charity. Riders are encouraged to carpool. There are only 100 spots available for 2013 where a bus will be available at Ancaster, and your bike will be trucked. There is a fee payable with your registration for this pre-race transportation. FOR THOSE LUCKY 100 PEOPLE BUSES WILL RUN FROM 7:45 TO 8:15 ONLY ON RACE DAY. For everyone there is a secure bike check at the finish. A bus will be available to get you back to your vehicle at Paris. This bus is free for all participating riders. See the link on the Navigation Bar for maps to Ancaster and Paris.
